Certified Organic Dehulled Einkorn Berries

Einkorn is one of the first wheats domesticated by humans. While einkorn is a winter grain in the Fertile Crescent, it typically is grown as a summer crop in North America. Our Einkorn was planted in the fall of 2011 as an experiment and a portion of it survived the winter and was replanted to become a Finger Lakes native. Just as Spelt, Einkorn has a tightly attached hull that must be removed prior to use.
